Portrait of Sydney Erickson

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, which is why I strive to create a safe, grounded, and collaborative space where you feel comfortable being yourself and exploring life’s challenges.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing tendencies. I also support couples and families experiencing communication difficulties, relationship strain, and parenting challenges. Whether you feel stuck in negative thought patterns, overwhelmed by expectations, or caught in recurring relationship cycles, I aim to help you better understand yourself, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and regain a sense of control and confidence in your life.

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood and empowered to see yourself and your experiences in new ways. My goal is to help you recognize the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop healthier ways of responding to challenges, and build a stronger sense of self-worth. Together, we can work toward breaking old cycles, fostering personal growth, and creating more fulfilling relationships.

I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive & Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Experiential and Narrative approaches, and psychoeducation. By combining practical tools with deeper exploration of emotions, beliefs, and relational patterns, I help clients develop skills that support lasting change both within themselves and in their relationships.
