Common questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often. If yours is not here, call 513-928-3339.

How do I know if my child needs help?

If emotional, behavioral, or focus challenges interfere with school, friendships, or daily life, it may be time to seek help. Trust your instincts—you know your child best.

Will my child need medication?

No. Many children benefit from therapy alone. When medication would be helpful, our providers carefully monitor effectiveness and side effects.

What if my teenager is reluctant to get help?

Our adolescent specialists use approaches that respect their growing independence while building trust over time. We meet them where they are.

What happens at the first visit?

The first visit is about listening and understanding. We discuss your child’s history, strengths, and challenges to develop an accurate assessment and treatment plan.
