Hi, I’m Jami! I am a Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist in Addiction, and Certified Autism Specialist with more than six years of experience in behavioral health. I have worked across outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, and community based settings, supporting individuals experiencing trauma, substance use and recovery, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, relationship concerns, and co occurring mental health and substance use disorders. My approach is trauma informed and person centered, with an emphasis on creating a genuine therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. I earned my Master of Social Work and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University. My academic interests include trauma, trust, psychological safety, and leadership. I believe understanding what someone has experienced and how those experiences can shape the brain, nervous system, relationships, and behavior is an important part of creating lasting change. I bring empathy, authenticity, and humor when appropriate into therapy while helping clients better understand themselves, develop practical skills, and move toward the life they want.
