IOP Therapist & Program Innovator (LCDC, LISW, LPCC)

Apply for this role

Updated October 8, 2026 — this position remains open for applications.

Build your IOP therapy practice with a team that’s actually fun to work with — and a mission that matters.

SOS Wellness is a growing behavioral health practice with two locations in Southwest Ohio: Middletown, OH and Norwood, OH (Cincinnati area). We’re looking for IOP therapists (LCDC, LISW, LPCC) who want real clinical autonomy, a collaborative team, and a practice that takes patient experience as seriously as clinical excellence.

We work with kids, teens, and adults across the full diagnostic spectrum — mood, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, SUD, neurodevelopmental — and we’re building something that treats both patients and clinicians like humans.

Now hiring at both of our Ohio locations: Middletown and Norwood (Cincinnati area). Full-time and part-time positions available. Our current priority is in-person substance use IOP group work in Middletown; please indicate your preferred location and availability.

Why people like working here

  • Mission you’d actually post about. We serve the people who need this care most — Medicaid, underserved, neurodiverse, in recovery. If “doing meaningful work” is on your non-negotiables list, you’ll fit here.
  • Patient experience is non-negotiable. We care deeply about how patients are treated from the moment they call to the moment they leave. Effective, appropriate care delivered without unnecessary waiting — that’s the standard.
  • A team that likes each other. Team lunches, active group chat, regular team meetings. Therapists, case managers, and admin who actually have your back — so the social and logistical pieces don’t land on your desk.
  • Leadership that says yes to good ideas. Medical Director Dr. Irfan Dahar, MD brings 30+ years across community mental health and addiction medicine — and runs a practice where clinicians are trusted, not micromanaged.
  • Trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming — and we mean it culturally, not just on paper. This shows up in how we practice, how we talk to each other, and how we build programs.
  • Room to help build something new. We are developing our in-person and virtual IOP programs. If you want to help shape group programming and coordinated care, there is room to contribute.

What this isn’t

A 30-patient-a-day mill. A place where you’re a number. A practice still running on 2010 systems. If that’s what you’re escaping, come talk to us.

  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and the medical director on integrated treatment plans
